Five Characteristics of a Godly Man, Husband, & Father

1. He pursues a walk with God, which is a legacy for his family to follow – Deuteronomy 6:6-9 and Ephesians 5:25-27.

2. He is respected for how he lives and treats others – Titus 2:7-8 and Romans 12:9-13.

3. He believes in practicing biblical justice while exhibiting genuine compassion for hurting people. He does not provoke his children to wrath or discourage them through unreasonableness – Ephesians 6:4.

4. He is stable in his thinking and actions, producing a sense of safety and security for his wife and family – Philippians 4:8-9.

5. He demonstrates humility and wisdom based upon his life with God – Colossians 5:5-6 and James 3:13.
